When you leave a city, you expect to keep in touch with the people you were closest with. Sometimes you're even lucky enough to maintain a relationship with those you never got to know quite as well as you would have liked. One such gem, Jonathan Morton-Schuster, was a colleague of mine during my stint in Toronto. He self describes as, "Skinnier than a whippet. Madder than a march hair." and I tend to agree. The only things that rivals this performance artist/TV personality/dancing diva's lithe limbs are his wit, talent, and twitter account.
Today, Johnathan's tweet reminded me that it's International Day Against Homophobia. Naturally, I started thinking about salt and pepper shakers. I love they way salt and pepper shakers bring a little love to any table. The sets always seem to be nuzzling and cuddling one another, even if they're a table runner apart.
Totally Lesbians.
SOO androgynous.
Gayest fruit ever.
Love comes in a lot of funky shapes and sizes- isn't that magical? You can catch Jonathan's hilarity on One Girl Five Gays or on a stage near you (if you're in Toronto, that is).Put a little salt in your baby's pepper with these fabulous sets found on Etsy: Cow Salt and Pepper Shakers, S & P in a Tree, Strawberries.
